I am a very outgoing, caring caregiver who has worked in both private homes and daycare. I am happily married to my husband of 36 yrs. Have two adult children, one of which is married and has two beautiful children. I love children, nature, and animals of all sizes. I have various pets myself. I love to swim, camp, fish, hike, cross-country ski, horseback ride and many other outdoor activities. I also enjoy painting, ceramics, and variety of crafts. Have also done volunteer work in the community as well as the church. Was a Boy Scout/Girl Guide leader as our children grew up. Participated in many of their school activities and field trips. Was in church Choir for many years, on the board of elders and served on the Official Board. Served as a Sunday School teacher and helped in the nursery. Was a leader for a youth group at church. I am currently involved with church ministries. I am always willing to learn new things.

Worked for Spruce Grove Daycare as Day Care worker from January 2003-January 2008. Took care of various age groups ranging from newborn to School age. Planning daily activities and teaching curriculum and supervised assistant helping me. Then took a position with a private family from June 2003-November 2015 until children started middle school and my services were no longer needed. Attended CDI College received instruction and practicum hours as set by Alberta Human Services, Early Childhood Development Branch. Certified as Child Development Worker as a result of this course(level 2). took first aid course during employment at Day Care would have to renew if needed.
