Hi, I am Roche, 27 y. o. I am a filipina and a nurse by profession way back in our country. I am currently studying now for Home Care Assistance for Elderly and finishing by the end of July 2018. In my 5 years of work experience as a nurse in our country, I was exposed in caring and promoting health for people of all ages. We were being deployed in the community and assess the health problems and needs of the people to promote holistic care especially for those belonging to the marginalized sector in the community. Since I am the third child in the family, I got the chance to be responsible in taking care of my younger siblings which also extended up to my 2 cute neice and 3 adorable nephews. I love making time with them, play and teach them on my knowledge and skills for them to be good at school. Before my grandfather died last 2013, I was the one taking care of him at the hospital until getting discharged and placed at their home. I love my grandfather, I took care of him not just a health worker but the sense of responsibilty within myself to take care and ensure the welfare of my loveones and for those who are in need. Making time with my neice, nephews and younger cousins to play, and teach them sports and some discussions at school. I assist with their meals, bath and providing comfort by reading stories until they get fall asleep.
