Hello there, I’m Jenilyn from Philippines working as Caregiver/Nanny for almost 6 years in the same family here in Calgary. My main duties are taking care of 3 children they are now age between 8 year old and twins 6years old. The twins are going to grade 1 this coming September and the eldest going to grade 4 so they don’t need full time nanny. My duties are preparing meals for the kids bring the eldest to the bus stop. I also drive the twins to the gym and drive them to school. I do light house chores while the children are at school, like doing laundry tidying up the kitchen and the whole house. In the afternoon I go and pick them up from the bus stop. While working in this family I went to school taking the Health Care Aide program every weekend for 6 month. After receiving my Certificate I applied as Health Care Aide in one facility so I am working as casual but I still need to find a second job. I hope that I can find employer here as soon as possible. My experienced as Caregiver/Nanny for more than 16 years as a child care in Canada and from abroad has prepared me for an opportunity. Mostly l cared 3 children from different families from new born till growing up. My duties are focusing to the children preparing meals, feeding, toilet training, bathing, dressing, drive them to school and activities, assist in doing homework.
