I am an Australian living here in Montreal with my husband. I moved here originally three years ago to learn French and experience my father's culture. For the past year I have been working as an ESL teacher in French high schools as well as tutoring English and Math for primary school students. - I am particularly interested in early literacy. I really love the connection of working with an individual child and I am passionate about stimulating discovery through experiences not just work-books. Having experienced a Waldorf education in Australia, I love arts, crafts and storytelling, as well as spending time out in nature exploring. I also love healthy cooking and baking and have studied nutrition extensively. As a nanny, I am creative, engaging and patient - I encourage in children kindness, inquisitiveness and mindfulness.

Five years experience as a babysitter - evening or weekend supervision including meal-times, games and bed. Two years experience as a tutor - working with primary school aged students on English, Math and French. One year English Second Language Teacher - working in high school, lesson planning, classroom management, grammar and pronunciation.

Bachelor of Arts in English Graduate Diploma in Teaching English as a Second Language - currently completing online.
