My name is Dhanica. I am from the Philippines and have been living here in Montreal since 2017. I am a mom with my beautiful 7 years old daughter. Back when I was in the Philippines, I was an elementary teacher who loves teaching children. When I arrived here in Canada I thought my dream profession was over but I was wrong because I had a chance to study Early Childhood Education and got my certificate after. Right now I am working during weekdays in a childcare setting ( daycare center) for almost 4 years now. I have my valid police check and CPR certificate. I am currently seeking for part-time job (Saturday and Sunday) from 9 am - 5 pm or we can discuss the hours that you want.

Right now, I am working in a French daycare. I was a replacement teacher for 2 years where I handle different age group from 2-5 years old. After that I work as a teacher in the baby class where I handle babies from 6 months to 18 months. Now, I've become a permanent teacher of 2 years old which I handle 8 kids in my class. As I work with them, I usually teach them how to follow routines, listen to directions and always be gentle and kind to others. My favorite part is when we sing together and read stories which they enjoyed the most. I loved it when they tried to do something that they thought they couldn't it but succeeded in the end. I love to see their reaction when they discover something on their own and share it to others. Being with the children is the most amazing thing you can enjoy in life, you help them grow and learn different things in life.

I graduated Bachelor of Elementary Education in the Philippines and I have my certificate in Early Childhood Education
