I am a mother of two children; my son who is 14 years of age and my daughter who is 12 years of age. I was a stay at a home mom and nurtured my children up until they started junior kindergarten. I held the position of an after school program facilitator for PLASP Childcare Services at the school where both my children attended. I also took on various roles while working for PLASP which included daycare cook, special needs assistant and relief work in place of iĺl or staff who were absent. In addition, I also held the position of a respite care worker for a single mother of 4 boys -1 of which has special needs. I recently earned my Life Coaching Certification and and my goals are to build a practice in the self betterment/ self help industry and write both a childrens' and self help book. I am an aspiring writer and enjoy exercising, reading, and creating. I enjoy connecting with all peoples and children alike. I myself hold a childlike heart and enjoy working with kids and strongly believe they teach us and see things purely as they are. I am surrounded by children as I come from a large extended family of which I am both an aunt and great aunt. Some of my past volunteer experience includes working at an elementary school as a jk/sk teachers aid. While volunteering as a teachers aid I was offered a position to work as a lunch time supervisor. I believe that in order for children to thrive and expand, a safe, diverse, and loving environment is essential. I am a well rounded person, open to learning and helping others from all walks of life.
