I am Aziza, 27 y/o, Filipino. I currently live in Langley. I started taking care of babies when I was in prep so I am very comfortable with babies/kids. I am a trustworthy and reliable person.

The one I took care of when I was in prep. Did the common things for babies. Feeding, bathing, changing diaper etc. When he is crying, I am checking his diaper maybe because it is very wet already, he’s hungry or uncomfortable. When he is sleeping, I always make sure that he will not fall off from the bed so I put pillows around him. I also keep on checking his diaper to make sure he will not soak in wet. When he is awake, I play with him, put him in a walker, give toys but not the small ones to avoid choking. I always need to keep an eye on him to make sure he is safe at all times. Put music on or television on for him. I always make sure that everything is fine with him and he’s comfortable. He’s my cousin and a down syndrome baby. ———————————————————————————— September2018 - January2018. With 1 year old baby boy as well. I was alone with him most of the time. Needed to watch him always because he doesn’t walk yet but trying to hold on to something then try to walk, so he always need to have someone beside him in case he falls or hit onto something. I play with him, feed him, watch tv with him, let him nap and go out for a walk in the afternoon and he loves it. My only duty there is to watch the baby, but when the baby is sleeping, I also wash dishes. Not because they asked me to, but I just want to do it while I am not doing anything and to help them too because they are all busy working. I also do sweeping sometimes. I’m the only nanny that the baby get along with according to them. Because the parents tried to look for more nanny but the baby isn’t comfortable with them. They really trust me and I’m so grateful with them. I worked Monday-Fri. 4hrs - 8hrs or more when needed.
