Hello. My name is Stephanie and I am a Political Science student at the University of Lethbridge. Though I love my major and learning, I am also an avid fan of sports, and have played competitive soccer since I was 10 years old. I love being outside, being active, crafts, movies, and most of all laughing. Kids bring me so much joy to be around, and I really think they teach you just as much as you teach them. I am a responsible and reliable individual with a passion for childcare. I spent the summer of 2018 as a full-time nanny, and have had plenty of years of babysitting experience before then. I am confident in giving your kids the care they deserve/need, along with giving you peace of mind while they're with me.

I have had experience babysitting two girls since one was five and the other 9 for two years. These babysitting jobs ranged from early morning (starting at 7) into the evening. I provided them with meals, took them around the neighborhood, to play dates, and of course spent time with them at home. These two girls were very energetic and mischievous kids (though I adored them anyway), so I do have experience in disciplining children and am not shy to do so if the situation calls for it, but only if it's necessary and never physically. From May to August of 2018 I took on my first nanny position through the site, where I watched over a 2 year old boy. My shifts ranged from starting at 5 in the morning to 7 in the morning, and well into the evening (10. 5 hours/day). I gained a lot of experience through it, and while there were difficult times, I am thankful I took the job and feel like I definitely grew from it. I have also babysat for family members whose children's ages ranged from 1 to 5 years old, and have a little sister myself.

I graduated high school in 2017, and am currently enrolled in university, looking to return in the fall. I have relevant First Aid/CPR training, police check, driver's record, and am willing to obtain any other certifications my employer requires.
