My name is Jayden and I am a student at Lethbridge College. I currently have a diploma in Criminal Justice and am working on obtaining my bachelor’s degree in hopes of fulfilling my goal to work a career within the Justice system. I was born and raised in Calgary, AB and moved to Lethbridge for post secondary in the fall of 2020. I consider myself to be very family oriented as I come from a very blended family and grew up with 4 sisters! I have three beautiful nieces, ages newborn, 3yrs, and 12yrs. Watching them grow up and explore their personalities has been so much fun. As much as I wish they would stay little, I’m so excited to see them become the spectacular young women they desire to be. I have always been very independent and hard working. Once I find passion for something I become extremely motivated and determined to reach my goal. However, I also like to have fun and simply relax. Having my own apartment, job, school, and a dog, I don’t find much time for doing nothing; therefore, I definitely like to take advantage of it when given the opportunity!

My child care experience consists of taking care of my three nieces, and babysitting for friends and family. Currently working as an educational assistant for Lethbridge School Division, I assist children with specific learning needs, mental and physical disabilities, as well as children that just need that extra motivation. I have babysat and worked with children of all ages and find that interacting with children comes naturally to me! As for my training, I have the following certifications: -babysitting course -first aid / CPR (includes infant CPR) -food safety -water safety (swimming) Bronze Medallion -clean criminal record check -clean child intervention check -covid vaccines x3
