I am originally from Ukraine but moved to Canada with my family when I was in middle school. I have been involved in gymnastics almost all my life and worked as a coach for 8 years. This is where most of my time working with children comes from. As a gymnastics coach, my responsibilities included coaching competitive and recreation groups of all ages and needs. I have trained kids starting from "Parent and Tot" (ages 1-3) and "pre-school" (ages 3-5) to various school-aged children, some of which had autism and other special needs. I have also had the opportunity to organize and conduct camps and birthday parties which I loved the most because those events allowed me to use my creative side in order to put together arts and crafts activities. Talking about creativity, I have also always been passionate about drawing and painting, as well as playing the piano. Besides coaching gymnastics, I have taught piano lessons. Lastly, I already have some babysitting experiences and can provide references, if needed. I have recently relocated to Chilliwack while I finish my Bachelor's degree from the University of Victoria, and I am looking to find a job that requires working with children since I really miss it.
