Hello, My name is Claudia, I am 21 years old and I am a dietetics student at McGill university. I am originally from the laurentians, where I grew up on a small animal farm and spent a lot of time outdoors. I was also a ski instructor for four years at Mont Habitant in St-Sauveur. I attended John Abbott College in the West Island, and during my second (and last year of CEGEP) I worked for an amazing family of three kids, four days a week and acquired even more experience with kids on top of my years as a ski instructor. After graduating from John Abbott, I moved to NDG, two years ago. Since then I have worked with multiple families and have acquired experience with children as young as 11 months old, and have developed a love for working with babies/toddlers and watching them develop and grow. I am available to work 15-25 hours per week. I have my own car and am comfortable in the kitchen as well as with cleaning/laundry/organizing. As for my interests and hobbies; I love being active, hiking and travelling as well as reading and doing yoga. I thank all of you who took the time to read this and look forward to meeting you.

I worked for a year for a family with three kids, a five year old, an eight year old and a ten year old. I picked the kids up from school, did homework with them, cooked dinner, washed the dishes, did laundry and helped tidy around the house. I worked 3-4 days a week after school and occasionally spent the night. I really enjoyed this experience because I loved creating a positive and happy vibe in the house and having a good time with the kids while staying on top of tasks. This job allowed me to become better at dealing with issues that arise with siblings (especially 3) and also learn to multitask and get a lot done in short periods of time. I am currently a nanny to a two and a half year old and have been for a year and a half now, I started when she was 11 months old. I have watched her grow into a kind and loving toddler, and we have spent lots of time laughing and having a good time together. I pick her up at daycare and we do tons of activities together, but her favourites are swimming and going to the park or using her scooter. I have worked for other families as well but for short-term positions. I have many references to provide if needed.
