My name is Domilyn, 31 years old and I am a Filipino. I am married and with an 8 year old son in the Philippines. I love listening to music, reading books and watching movies. I am also interested in some sports like volleyball, softball, badminton and tennis.

I have been in Canada for nearly 4 years. I came here in Canada in 2014 and worked as nanny to a family of 5 in British Columbia for one year. I looked after 3 boys ages 3, 5, and 6. As their nanny, I was responsible in all aspect relating to the children such as getting them ready for school, preparing their breakfast, lunch & dinner, walking and picking them at the school bus stop, helping them with any school homework and engaging and attending with any of their activities such as soccer, baseball and hockey. In addition to childcare I was also responsible in keeping the house clean wherein I did housekeeping such as dusting, vacuuming, glass wall cleaning, mopping, and laundry. I moved here in Calgary in 2015 and worked to a family of 4 for 2 and a half years looking after a 5 year old girl and 6 year old boy. As nanny to these wonderful kids, I am responsible in keeping them safe, preparing them healthy meals at home and for school, waking them up, sending them to school and picking them at the bus stop. With this family in the absence of their parents, I stay with them for the nights until their parents come back from business trips. I make and bring them to their doctors’ appointments if needed. I communicate with their friends for a play date and getting transportation to bring them to their activities. Being a nanny is not just looking after children. I love being one because I like to see children grow up with good manners the way I was raised by my grandparents where honesty, respect and politeness to others are important to be learned. With younger generation, as we teach them good things we also learn a lot from them so as a child care provider I always put myself into their shoes understanding them as a child. I am currently working as a hotel housekeeper in downtown and working as a part time nanny to an 8 month old baby girl and 4 years old girl. I am looking for a part time minimum of 30hrs or full time job 40-50hrs a week from 6 or 7 am to 4 or 5pm.
