Hello family, Hope you’re having a wonderful day, and had a great fun filled summer.. First off, I must say since I was a young girl, I’ve always had a love and Soft spot for children, elders, and animals. My first three jobs I had as a teenager, I volunteered at Overlander extended care, the SPCA, after school twice a week/weekends, when I wasn’t babysitting. At Overlander I would go and play cards with the elderly people that did not have any family or did and they just didn’t come to visit them. At the SPCA I was too young to walk the dogs so I’m job was to spray down the kennels, which I didn’t mind because I enjoyed being close to them and helping out however I could. As a teenager I acquired a full time weekend babysitting job for a six month old little guy. Saturday and Sundays, from 6 AM to 2 PM, which gave me spending money and never seemed quite like a job because I enjoyed it so much. I am now a young 44-year-old woman, (he he) my one and only son named Zeth, who will soon be 20. He is off at college. I can honestly say the unconditional love I have for him is something that can only be understood or felt mother to mother - parent to parent. I am currently a health care aid, and have been working for a home support company through Kamloops. My jobs would include going into the homes of my clients, helping them with every day tasks such as cleaning and cooking, bathing and grocery shopping, and taking them to appointments or activities. I worked in special care homes such as Overlander where I had several clients I would work with daily, that had aggression and behavioural problems. I found the job very rewarding feeling, as watching them grow and progress in their everyday life with the struggles they faced was quite amazing. I have my industrial first aid and CPR as well as my food safe. am up to date on all of my vaccinations including the flu shot that I receive every year. I have had my drivers license since I was 16, with a clean driving record. I have had a criminal record check done as recent as September 2016, when I started my job and and have that. At your request I can have a drivers abstract record Done and a criminal record check for you. I have also taken a personal hygiene course and fire safety course online. I purchased a newer Chevy equinox his year that I absolutely love. It is very safe, up to date on all maintenance required, and has both summer and winter tires. Some of my interests include camping and fishing that I have done since I was a little girl with the family, gardening and cooking which I extremely enjoy to do. I am always looking after my friends children and I like the interaction and one on one basis. To spend time with them, getting down and playing with them at their level makes it more fun beneficial for them I think. It shows that you are interested in what they are doing. Playing Barbies or hot wheels, learning a new board game, or challenging ourselves to a new puzzle are all fun things they seem to enjoy when we play together. Outdoor activities I enjoy just as much. Going for hikes or walks on new trails, looking at new flowers and fruits that are growing, just getting out to the park and exploring new things are of fun things to do for all of us. I can take the kids to and from school and extracurricular activities in an extremely safe reliable vehicle. Also any other activities they may participate in, I can take them and watch, be there to support throughout. Doctors appointments again no problem. For the parents I love to cook so I would never have a problem cooking the kids lunch or dinner or all of the family and again if needed I am a great grocery shopper and don’t mind running errands for the family. I would like to help out wherever I can to lesson the load of the parents. Cleaning, dishes, making lunches, laundry, vacuuming, etc. again. no problem, Just a quick bit about my family who I love so much, my mother passed away unfortunately in 2012 due to a very long battle with ovarian cancer. She was my best friend and I miss her so much. We have recently found out that my father has cancer as well so I am there for him in anyway living each day one at a time. I have a older brother who lives in Victoria and talk to you as much as possible on the phone, We were pretty close growing up fighting like brothers and sisters do. Lol luckily growing out of that.. I hope this bit of information about myself helps you in describing the kind of person I am.
