I am from Brantford, Ontario. I’m 23, I have my diploma in Early Childhood Education from Fanshawe College, where I specialized in creating and maintaining nurturing, responsive relationships from birth to age 12. I am currently attending Wilfrid Laurier University where I am working towards my undergraduate degree in Youth and Children’s Studies. After my Youth and Children’s undergrad I would like to go to teachers college as my goal career is to become a teacher. I would like to use the experiences of working with your family and children to benefit us both: you by having a nurturing and attentive nanny and me by utilizing the skills I learn in school. I am currently a nanny for two families in Brantford but I am looking for extra sitter jobs when the families don’t need me.

During college, you have 3 mandatory placements. Within those placements I have worked in a childcare centre, once, and an elementary school, twice. After my placement at the childcare centre I was offered a job, which I declined due to my focus being solely on my education at the time. I’ve also had the opportunity to work at Dalhousie Place which is a supervised access centre for children and families. Currently, I am working as a nanny for two families in Brantford. Additional Experiences/Qualifications: Certification in Kids Have Stress Too. (KHST. ), Infant Toddler Environment Rating Scale - Revised (ITERS-R), Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale (ECERS). As well as complete knowledge and understanding of the Early Learning for Every Child Today (ELECT) document and Kindergarten Program.

Went to Fanshawe College for Early Childhood Education and currently at Laurier for Youth and Children’s Studies.
