I am a positive, ambitious and caring person. I am a people person as I love talking with and helping people. This is due largely because I have an Educational Psychology degree at the masters level and have spent thirty years in the classroom, fifteen of which was as a school Guidance Counsellor. in Jamaica. With a post graduate certificate from Durham College in the field of Gerontology, that is, helping older persons experience a better quality of life can only make me the kind of person that anybody would love having to work with. This is so as I come to the job with of a deep sense of understanding people( psychology) and of a helping nature( gerontology) that will greatly benefit my employers.

I would serve nutritious meals, give them baths, engage them in games for pleasure and for educational purposes, ensure their medical and dental appointments are updated, help with school work if they are of school age and supervise them at all times.

I was a teacher in Jamaica and did a number of child courses both at the degree and master's level
