I am a single university student working towards my Teaching Degree, online. I am looking for a childcare or nanny position with a family who has a young child, or children. I would prefer a infant or toddler. I am an avid reader and writer, and love to research health & wellness and science topics. At home, I help raise my pre-K nephew. I have taught English in South America, and speak Spanish at an intermediate level, should you be interested in raising a bilingual child. I have a driver's licence, clean criminal/vulnerable sector search, and my first aid/CPR for infants & children certification. I also have Food Safe, Blood-borne Pathogens, WHMIS, TESOL/TEFL. I have experience working with children who have high/additional needs. I have cared for young children, in and out of the workplace. I am patient and attentive; confident, and trustworthy. I am currently only available in the daytime until September 24th as I will be required to attended classes starting on the 25th. In situation where I live on your property, or where children. Work experience.. Daycare: worker: Assisted in all areas of daily activity. Preparation/Cleanup of bottles/lunches/snacks. Diapers/Training. School drop off and pick up. Supervising nap time. First Aid. Leading story time & other age-appropriate activities. ESL Teacher (In South America): Responsible for all aspects of a typical classroom, such as attendance and providing a structured curriculum. Marking/correcting of assignments, and maintaining open communication with parents I also worked at a clay/sculpting instructor for children, age 18m+. I ran day camps with small groups of children. We did art projects, went to nearby parks, and made lunches and snacks together. I have cared for my nephew since his birth.
