My great love in life is working with children. I have enjoyed working in childcare for 20 years, both in daycare settings and private nanny contracts. I have my Early Childhood Education diploma, current first aid certificate as well as my food handling certificate, First of all, and most importantly I believe, I am a very nurturing, warm person. Children need hugs and love and then they will have the self confidence and competence to continue to grow and learn throughout their childhood and adult life. I strive to teach them empathy of people's feelings and to be polite and respectful of others. You will find me to be a very creative and enthusiastic caregiver with unlimited patience and passion for working with children. I always strive to promote early learning in a way that builds on the child's development level, stimulating their interests. I am always quick to get down on the floor and have fun with the children. I am able to help with household tasks and have a strong knowledge of nutritious meal planning. I believe in strong communication with the parents to be clear on what your priorities and beliefs regarding childcare are.
