Hi there. My name is Sam. I am a university student at Queen's University in Kingston, ON in my 4th year of a Biology major. I live in Mississauga during the summer with my parents and sister, but I grew up in Toronto. I am an outdoor enthusiast; I love hiking, biking, swimming, running, etc., basically anything active outside. I have had plenty of babysitting experience, and I grew up going to camp and later became a counsellor so I have tons of experience with kids and engaging them in fun activities. I have babysat intermittently since I was 13, for family, family friends, neighbours, etc. I have experience with ages ranging from 1 - 11. During my time babysitting, I have cared for the children during the day, night, and overnight. Responsibilities I had were preparing meals, light housekeeping, planning activities, night time and morning routines, etc. I am a quick learner, responsible, enthusiastic, outgoing and love kids. I worked as a camp counsellor for two years. Responsibilities included looking after up to 10 campers, getting them ready in the morning for activities (sun protection, proper outfitting for activities, ensuring mental well being and health), supervising various activities and meal times, and supervising canoe trips.
