Hi my name is Rachel and I am looking for a part time (or full time depending) Nanny/Babysitter position. I have been around family's kids all my life and have done my fair share of baby sitting. I volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters for 3 years and absolutely adore their in-school program. I have been homeschooled almost my whole life and am very familiar with the community and process therein, I often ended up being hired to tutor my peers from a young age and feel confident teaching others in a fun and positive manner. Currently I help run a Martial arts business and work with many kids as well as our program designed for anyone with special needs. I don’t need a job but I love being around kids and pets (plus I drive myself crazy by not taking breaks from business paperwork. ). I have recently received my Child Development Assistant certification and have taken a few psychology courses. I don't like putting too much on the about me section because I want you to be someone who's able and willing to actually get to know me well before I am in your home. I don't just want an interview but rather a process of forming a relationship before I am even in your home.

Over the years I have done 2 nanny jobs and 2 respite positions. I have coached homeschool soccer which lead me to my first job with 4 children. Two of which were twins. More recently I worked with an amazing family who had a young child with autism. I helped support his learning as well as watched his younger brother. Currently I am not looking for work as I’m recovering from health issues however may be available for the right part time job. (Less than 10 hours a week, not available until after 3pm). In the past I have also been hired as a tutor both from my school for a paid peer to peer tutor and by my extended family to help homeschool their children. I am well rounded in Math, Science, Reading, Social Studies and spelling. When it comes to high school grades it’s becomes very evident that my strong suit is math. Additional Experiences/Qualifications: I have a valid Driver's licence and CPR including infant and child. I also do have a background check.

I have completed my highschool education, a few university level psychology, math and humanity courses as well as my Child Development Assistant certificate.
