  About Me

Certified, dedicated and loving nanny available starting June 3

Hello dear family,
My name is Rie Sasaki and I am from Japan, looking for a full-time position starting June 3, 2019.

I am currently completing the In-home caregiver training at TLC Edmonton. This 7 months course provides me with training in CPR/First Aid, Health and Safety, Nutrition and Meal Preparation, Child Development, Guiding Young Children, Disability Care, Elderly Care, Communication Skills. The theoretical and practical instruction prepares me well for the challenging work with children. I am presently taking care of children from infancy through school-age in two different day-care centers as a volunteer. I also have more than 4 years' expeRience in teaching to young children in Japan.

I love working with children and helping them learn and grow. I believe kids would love me as much as I do. Children get close and attached to me instantly. I am good at drawing and folding paper into figures "origami", and children love to see me doing them. I can even teach Japanese.

I like reading, singing, making arts and crafts. Being a nanny allows me to express my creativity and imagination during play to keep them interested and entertained. I also exercise regularly to build up my strength, which is important to work with energetic children every day.

Thank you very much for reading my profile and I am looking forward to hearing from you.
