Hi there, I am a third-year Criminology student at Vancouver Island University. I am looking for part-time employment with a family as either a casual babysitter or part-time nanny. I am experienced with children from the ages of six months to twelve years old and have roughly six years of babysitting/nannying experience. For the past year, I had been working with an amazing family in Nanaimo who had a four-year-old boy and a two-year-old boy. I am willing to obtain a police check upon request and am going to be recertifying both my occupational first aid level one and infant CPR courses this summer. I have a safe and reliable vehicle that I am fully willing to use, as well as a class 5 driver's license. I am comfortable around all kinds of pets. In the past, I have done a variety of crafts, science experiments, as well as outdoor activities with the children that I have watched. July and August 2016- on a regular basis (four to five days a week) I acted in a nanny role for a family with an eleven-year-old and a nine-year-old. This position involved meal preparation and cooking breakfasts and lunch on a daily basis as well as a variety of activities throughout the day. I have had a weekly babysitting role for a little boy between his ages of one and three. For the past year, I had been working as a nanny for a family with a four-year-old and a two-year-old. My duties included the morning routine, pick up and drop off from daycare/preschool, and afterschool activities such as going to the park or beach walks.

I am currently enrolled in the Criminology Diploma program at Vancouver Island University and will be going on to complete my bachelor's degree once finished my diploma. Upon the completion of my degree, I am planning on joining either the RCMP or a section of child welfare services.
