I have 3 grown children of my own. I have a background working with children in an elementary school as a student monitor, a library assistant and I have set up a literacy room. I strongly believe in the power of reading with children. I am comfortable with pets, my family has a Shitzu and a cat.

I am a mother to 3 children (26, 24, 22) so I am familiar with all the ages and stages. My son is an Insulin dependent diabetic since the age of 2 so I am familiar with those routines as well. My first family had 2 little boys (3 and 5). I had been with the family since the youngest was 1 month old. My second family had 1 little boy (3), he was 1 when I started with the family.
