  About Me
I have grown up in a close-knit community that always looked out for each other, as well as for those in the surrounding regions of the city. Over many years, alongside my congregation, I helped host feed-the-hungry dinners. I also collected blankets and other essentials for animal shelters. Throughout my life, I have been passionate about helping others, whether it be physically or mentally. As well, I have always been drawn to be part of a team. In addition, during my junior high years, I excelled on a track and field team, while also being a singer with Calgary’s renowned Cantare choir. In the past, volunteering and working with kids has inspired me to use my imaginative side while also learning from each individual child. While working with kids, I often gained fresh ideas from any collaboration. In fact, each one ended up becoming a collective learning experience. From being a camp counsellor to a French teacher assistant I have always cherished the many experiences I have had when working with kids.
