My name is Ella, I love working with people. I have worked at many summer camps, including Pedalheads, City of Markham soccer camp, learn to skate, and I also have a long history of babysitting, therefore I love working with children and have a lot of experience with it. I have a driver's license, my First-Aid certificate, and my High-five certificate which is a leadership program certificate. I am currently in my first year of teachers college at the University of Ottawa
I have worked at multiple different summer camps and other places that have given me the experience to work with children. I have volunteered and worked at Learn to Skate with the City of Markham, where I worked with children from the ages of 3-13 teaching them how to skate. I also worked at one of the City of Markham soccer camps, teaching children how to play soccer, and if they were already experienced, helped improve their skills. The most recent place I worked with children, is Pedalheads which is a summer camp where children learn how to ride bikes. I have worked here for the past 6 summers. At Pedalheads, i worked as a bike instructor for 3 summers, a camp supervisor for one, a camp manager for one, and last summer i was the camp operations cooridnator for the Ottawa region. As an instructor, I would be with one group of kids for a week and I would teach them how to ride their bikes, with more advanced groups we would also go on trail rides together. Taking children on trail rides, required a lot of responsibility, because it was off-site and I would be the only instructor with them. As a manager, I was responsible of the entire camp. Last summer as operations coordinator, I provided support to all of Ottawa's 10 regions.
I graduated a French immersion high school; Pierre Elliott Trudeau Secondary School. I have graduated from Western university with a bachelors degree. I am currently in my first year of teachers college at the University of Ottawa.
