I am 22-year old currently living downtown Toronto. I have 5+ years experience working with kids of all ages. I worked as a lifeguard/swim instructor and ski coach during high school, which is which caused me to have a love of working with kids. I love teaching them and watching them learn new things. I find it is a different type of skill that is required to work with little ones to show them the way. During my summer breaks in high school I was a mothers helper to a new mommy of twin girls. For 6 months I helped take care of the babies when mommy needed errands run, chores done, or any help around the house. I have helped raise my younger cousins as well. It is safe to say I have a passion working with children, whatever age. I hope that I can have the chance to show you what a great mentor and helper I can be to you and your family.

From a young age I have been surrounded by children. I first began as a lifeguard/swim instructor for young children and special needs children. This was not just a job but a passion as I enjoyed seeing the progressions in skills. I worked mainly with children aged 2-6, I also taught parent-tot classes that involve infant and parent in-water teaching. I then continued as a ski coach for competitive racing. I taught proper skills and body manipulation with children in the developing stages of 8-10. I particularly enjoyed this as it was a very different technique to teach kids on land than it is to teach in water. As I was working as an educator for kids skills, I was also a mothers helper for a neighbour who was a new mother to twin girls. I was an assistant with her for 8 months, the girls were 3 months when I started working with them. When the family decided to move out of the province unfortunately I could not join. I have had many babysitting experiences with multiple families and children of all ages. I enjoy learning how to take care of their needs and wants. I was a student at Ryerson University studying business management. After 2 years of studying I realized it was not the proper environment for me. I currently am taking courses in health and wellness. I am fairly rounded in nutrition as I study that as a personal hobby. I have studied fitness and nutrition for more than 8 years and I am dedicated to putting my efforts into becoming a wellness coach in the new future. I currently have a fitness coaching business currently that I do on the side.
