Hello everyone! My name is Sarah and I am beginning the process of searching for a nanny position! I am excited to connect with families and meet a great fit! A bit of background on me: I have been working with children for several years now and it's what I love to do! Currently, I am studying at McMaster to become a nurse. In my spare time I love to hike and bake. I enjoy sharing these passions with little ones as well! I am based in Ancaster. Qualifications: I have over 6 years experience working with children aged 5 months to 13 years old. Majority of my experience comes from nannying and babysitting. I also gained volunteer experience at a summer camp a few summers back! I am certified in Basic Life Support for health care providers which covers infant and child CPR as well as emergency first aid! This certification is recent as of June 2022. Additionally, I am certified in Standard First Aid and CPR C. Upon completion of my first year of the nursing program I also gained the capacity to work as a PSW! I have a vulnerable sectors check available. I am licensed, and own my vehicle. I am also happy to provide references after initial interviewing is complete! Additional: I have no issue with animals in the house (if you have pets I will count it as an added bonus)! I am happy to help out with house work, and would love to discuss that more if it is something your family needs. I am also happy to use my vehicle or a family vehicle to transport kids to and from activities or outings if that's something your family needs/ is interested in.
