Namaste. My name is Renee. I’m someone who believes that the attitude of gratitude is the surest way to experience joy and abundance in life. I think everyone is here for a reason, even if that reason hasn’t been discovered yet. One purpose I have is helping people live more fully and with more joy. I meet people where they’re at and without judgment. I believe in people. …and have witnessed, time and again, people rising to a higher standard because they were believed in and encouraged. I have worked for over 3 years with one of the largest care organizations in Calgary, assisting youth all the way to seniors. I’m transitioning away from a corporate environment to more of a family-managed arrangement. I’ve worked with children for over 10 years throughout in my career, both typical and those on the disability spectrum. I am also a Mother with a teenage daughter who I think, speaks well of my parenting abilities and most importantly is, my pride and joy. I’m potentially open to working with any age range and ability level. What’s important to me, is to find a good fit with a great family or single etc. where a mutually beneficial outcome can be agreed on. I have provided Nanny services both overseas and to families here in Canada. I was trusted early on in my life to care for children, some of whom were from influential families, to be a guide, facilitator, teacher and mentor. I have continued to gain further experience in this area since moving to Canada and working at a Daycare, CBE schools and as a practitioner in the disabilities field. I am a certified Life Skills Coach facilitator and Drum Circle facilitator. I have also developed programs which have been successful. Personal growth is important to me and being a mother allows me to continue to grow and develop myself in the area of child rearing/raising well-rounded adults and the art of human development.
