Hello. I am an Early Childhood Educator and received my Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education from Vancouver Community College. I also have my License to Practice, Emergency First Aid and a clear criminal record check. I have been working in the Early Childhood Education field for 17 years.
I value a play-based approach to early childhood development and learning and plan and implement age appropriate activities to foster children's physical, emotional, social and cognitive development. I enjoy leading children in music and movement activities as well as outdoor adventures and discoveries. Providing art activities for children's creative self-expression is exciting to be able to observe the process of their creations. I am happy to read to children to support their language development.
