UPDATE: not currently looking for employment. Recently graduated registered Health Care Assistant. Graduated with distinction from Discovery community college in the HCA program. 97 GPA. Comfortable in all aspects of care including medication administration and dementia care. I have 2 grown children 18 & 23. I am a newly proclaimed grandmother of two sweet girls under 2 and one more due in February. I love fishing and art, painting and crafts. Camping and anything to do with the ocean. I keep myself busy with my little miniature pincher, Cooper in my free time. I am reliable and accountable. I love children and cooking for friends and family. I look forward to helping a family who needs someone dependable and hard working to help their situation be a little easier throughout the day or night.

I am a 40 year old mother of two young adults. I also have two small infant and toddler granddaughters from my beautiful daughter and son in law. As well as one more grand daughter on the way due February. I was a nanny as a teenager for several family’s and a single young mom between the ages of 16&22. So I know how hard it can be to manage a family and work and juggle life on life’s terms. I’m also a recent graduate of the Healthcare assistant course offered by discovery community coalesce here in Nanaimo. I was a little nervous about going back to school at 39 but graduated with distinction so I guess I retained a few things :) I love children and people of all ages and find much joy and reward from caring for others.
