I am entering a new stage as my youngest child just graduated high school and after twenty plus years in childcare I am seeking to move into private care. Over the years I have had the opportunity to care for children with varying needs, including my own daughter who had special needs. My experience includes toileting, bathing, following a physio program of daily exercises or stretches, companionship, feeding assistance, oxygen, wheelchair transfer and so on. I am a patient, compassionate individual with a great sense of humor. As my children are grown I am able to work day or night shifts, love pets, and am happy to help with housekeeping tasks during my time with your loved one. Since closing my dayhome I spent two years being a nanny/housekeeper for a lovely family of twin infant girls and a young son. Included in that role, I ran errands, tended to childcare needs (bathing, feeding, changing, activities, outdoor adventures, sensory, imaginary, reading and more), meal prep, floors, vacuuming, dusting, bathrooms, garbage and recycling and more. I am a calm, nurturing individual who follows the direction of the family, engage fully with children, work well without directive, take initiative, and am highly committed.
