Hi my name is Maria Lynn, you can call me lyn or maria, 54 yrs old. I am the fourth of the siblings in my family. I am single never been married and no kids. I became a Canadian Citizen In January, 2019. I am a trustworthy and a reliable person willing to learn new things, I am very patient. I graduated and have a diploma in caregiving program back in Philippines. I have experienced working with seniors back in Philippines and Hongkong. I had the opportunity to take care of my mother who has diabetes and arthritis for a long period of time since she was in 50's. And she passed away at the age of 80 in 2008 before I came here to Canada.. I experienced working in an Italian elderly woman who has a breast cancer and diabetes for only 2 months and sad to say she did not survived. At present I work as a part time housekeeper for 5 1/2 hours everyday in Chartwell Long time care residence. I am looking for a part time job to look after seniors for companionship available in the afternoon 3 to 4 hours for 2 to 3 times a week. My hobbies are cooking, baking, reading books and very organized, I love neat and tidy. I experienced working with several employers and worked as nanny, housekeeper and everything in other countries like Cyprus and Hongkong and here in Canada looking after my two nephews attending of their needs and do a lot of things for them. And they are now teenager 16 and 14 years of age. And stay with them up to this present. I learned so many things with those experienced I have, just sad to say I don't have family my own. I have been here in Canada living with my sister for 10 years. that's why, I treat my nephews as my children and they are closed to me. I also experienced working with different factories especially, in food handler, packaging, sorting, labelling and etc., This time I want to work for elderly woman basically for companionship. High school graduate with diploma. College 2 years course in computer science. 6 months in secretarial course. 6 months in academic caregiver program and 240 hours ion the job training in caregiver including cpr and first aid in the hospital with certificate.
