Hello My Name is Emily I am a 22 year old girl from Toronto, Ontario. I completed the 2 year ECE program at George Brown College in Toronto. My passion was always to work with children since the age of 16 all started when I was given the opportunity to babysit my neighbours 2 daughters. Since the age of 16 to now I have had a lot of experience with working with children. High school I did a co-op class and went to a daycare for placement, then in college I went on and studied ECE and I had 4 placements I worked with ages kindergarten, preschool, toddler and infants. Before I moved to Windsor I was working with a family of 3, 2 twins a boy and a girl age 10 and another girl age 4. I moved to Windsor for more opportunities in the field I studied as in Toronto its more difficult to pursue your dreams. My hobbies and Interests are swimming, going on walks with my family, spending time with my friend and her daughter. I used to live with my mom, dad, sister, grandparents aunt and uncle. Last November I decided to move out and go live with my dad sister and her wife. I still look up to my family and grateful for them if it wasn't for them I wouldn't of accomplished everything I have so far.

Throughout my childcare work experience I have learned a lot and have a lot of skills to bring. Throughout my placements I have done the following. Planning activities daily for children Engaging in activities with the children Supervising children indoors and outdoors Assisting the children to the lunch room Observing and Creating activities for the Children Taking on the daily responsibilities I have also have volunteered at a fun fair, this resort I go to every year helping with the kids club Additional Experiences/Qualifications: First Aid / CPR ( expires in 2021 )

For high school I went to a all girls school in Toronto called St Josephs College School I completed grade 9-12 and got 2 math awards. I took co-op class and did a placement in a daycare which I really enjoyed and that's when I knew I wanted to go to college for ECE. Then I went on to college to study Early Childhood Education at George Brown College in Toronto it was a 2 year program with 4 placements in total. I also completed a Diversity workshop and a working with families workshop.
