I am a registered Midwife and a 3rd year med tech undergraduate in the Philippines. I started working abroad when I was 26 years old due to unstable economy in the Philippines. I came to Canada in 2008. I worked as a child caregiver to 3 beautiful children in Orangeville. I started working as a PSW in 2012 in the community under Bayshore. I also worked as a part time caregiver to a dementia client, ALS client and MSA client within that 10 year period. I also worked 1 year part time for Richview Manor and Cedarhurst dementia care under St. Elizabeth. I find it it rewarding to work with elderly, people with disabilities, children. This is the reason why I am in this industry. I like to think that I am helping people in my own way and because of this I am changing the world.

I worked for a wonderful family in Orangeville with 3 kids, one of which are twins and I looked after the nephew occasionally. It was a busy and proactive family as they have a cottage and they have lots of activities plus I bring the kids to the nearby park on summer days whenever we're home. I also worked as a childcaregiver in Hongkong for 2 years, and worked in Saudi Arabia for a family with 3 children that has neurometabolic disorders.
