My name is Vanica! I currently work full-time for Corrections Canada until 3pm and am available thereafter. I do not have children of my own, nor am I married so since I don't have those familial ties, I'm looking for something part-time to fill my days. My pup does a great job but she doesn't pay me! Love children and pets so that's what's lead me here. I have 4 younger brothers, the youngest being 19 years my junior, so I can confidently say "I have loads of experience with being around children and caring for them". I am available to play with the kiddos, do arts/crafts, bake, help with homework, or just be there to keep an eye on them. Age is not an issue. In my spare time, I like to cuddle with my little pup, and visit with family and friends. I am a little introverted so I enjoy being a homebody. I like reading, painting, and watching true crime documentaries.

I have changed many diapers and entertained them while my mother was busy working (my stepdad is legally blind) I have cooked for them, played with them, helped with homework, and escorted them wherever they needed to go. Before Covid, I helped a mom out with getting her 5yo daughter ready for school and doing drop offs. This was for a few months but then Covid hit, no body knew what was happening, and we ended our arrangement. I since moved from Surrey to Abbotsford.
