My names Vanessa and I’m 20 years old. I went to Douglas college to achieve my early childhood educator assistant license. I have worked in 2 daycares with children between the ages of 2-10. I am a very outdoorsy person and love going outside to do activities rain or shine.

My first experience working with children was in a kindergarten class I volunteered in. My main role there was to help kids read but I also helped with other subjects such as math and how to write and spell words. I absolutely love teaching children and see them learn so after I started to work at a daycare. I still currently work there and I feel as I’ve gained a lot of experience learning to work with different types of behaviour. It’s definitely a job where I never stop learning new skills
