My name is Caley and I am 20 years old. I have 5 older brothers & 5 sister in laws, which means.. lots of nieces and nephews. I currently have 2 nieces and 4 nephews. We are a very close family.. I am waiting to return to school for Communicative disorder assistant when the timing is right. i have worked with an nonverbal 18 year old boy with autism, I helped with house keeping duties, bathing, changing the individual, feeding, medication, and taking the individual to outings like parks, lunch and other fun activities. I also worked with a 3 year old boy with autism, I helped make sure all his foods were gluten free, (separate from his siblings) his bathing, house keeping duties and cooking. I am trustworthy, dependable, patient, and already seen how crazy kids can get, so you never have to worry about your children scaring me off haha. I most recently worked with the sweetest 93 year old women, I helped this individual with her needs in the bathroom, I cooked her meals & would just entertain her for the day with nice company. If she would take a nap I would clean up the house to make sure I wasn’t getting paid for sitting around. :)

I was working for my neighbor in high school as a summer job babysitting 3 children, all under age 10. I was paid 10$ an hour but over time I became so connected to the kids I didnt mind the low income, but as I got older and had bills to pay and unfortunately had to leave the Monday-Friday babysitting job I loved. in the last 2 years I have worked with 2 children who have autism, both nonverbal. this helped me become more patient & learn every child has different needs and different ways to cope with emotions

I have taken a Duel credit program for ECE and SSW. So in high school I earned 2 college credits
