My name is Elvie, 40 y. o from Philippines. I attended college for 3 years as a Mass Communication student and attended caregiving course for elderly and child care for 6months. I looked after a 93y. o elderly client back in the Philippines with dementia and Parkinson's disease, when my client passed away, I found a job as nanny for 2 years ages 18mos and 8y. o, and had a sideline of driving my neighbor's kids to and from school. My employment stop when my visa for Canada was approved. I came here in Canada last Sept. 9, 2019, I was sponsored with my sister whom where I lived now in Victoria. I am fun and loving caregiver, I loved serving people especially for elderly and children, I am hardworking person, loves to cook and interested exploring new things, I have an international drivers's license, willing to obtain here in Bc, and most especially I am dedicated to work.

I worked as nanny for 2 years in Phillipines looking after 18mos old and 8 y. o kids. I looked them after while their parents is at work. I am driving the older one to and from school. I looked after my 18months old nephew here in Langford, Victoria. Additional Experiences/Qualifications: Before I worked as nanny in the Philippines, I was a caregiver for my elderly employer, who was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and dementia, I worked with them for almost 2 years before she passed away. I prepared her meals, giving her medicine, giving personal care, driving her to appointments and doing some housekeeping.
