Hello and thank you for reading. My name is Talia and I live in Nanaimo with my husband and our adorable puppy Murphy. We love exploring the beautiful island we call home and spending time with friends and family. Animals are a huge part of my life and I love being around them. I have worked in various fields, however my time spent at the Boys and Girls Club of Vancouver Island instilled in me a love for working with children. I look forward to hearing from you.

I have previous experience at a daycare where we cared for approx 12-24 children on average. I also worked for approximately one year caring for two young girls on a day-to-day basis.. They were about 5 and 8 at the time, however I have cared for them many times since they were born. We spent a lot of time playing and running around outside, cooking meals together, and making crafts and conversing. I plan to use these same methods moving forward as well. I strive to connect with the child and form a relationship that can be stable/reliable so as to ease any separation anxiety from mom and dad. I also tend to do house keeping duties such as cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming etc.
