Hi, My name is and I am from Rwanda. I moved to Canada in August, 2018 to start an Environmental Policy research program in Newfoundland and Labrador. I currently live in Regina where I am taking a Master program in Public Policy. I like learning and traveling and coming to Canada has brought me such opportunities, from experiencing a different culture to meeting new people and getting the Canadian experience from an internship program I had with the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador as part of my program. During my undergraduate studies, I was studying as a part-time student and I got a full time job as a special education teacher after a month of training at Green Hills Academy, an International school in Rwanda. I spent time with children and teenagers from the age of 5 to the age of 17. My work included speech therapy, reading, French lessons, English lessons and Math Lessons. I lesson planned, documented each day and communicated with parents about the students' progress. I am single, I currently live with my aunt and my 10 months old cousin. I like spending time with the baby, feeding her, playing with her, putting her to sleep and taking care of all her needs especially when my aunt is not around. In my free time, I enjoy reading, spending time with friends and family, hiking when it's warm outside and swimming is my favorite sport. Thank you for your time.

I have worked with children living with disabilities such as down-syndrome, dyslexia, autism and hearing disabilities from the age of 5. My responsibility included giving speech therapy, reading lessons, writing lessons, French lessons, English lessons and Math lessons. I also made weekly lesson plans, documented about each day and communicated with parents about their child's progress. Currently, I occasionally take care of my 10 months old cousin, especially when my aunt is not at home.

I am currently taking a Master in Public Policy at the University of Regina. I recently graduated with a Master of Arts in Environmental Policy. I studied Environmental Science in my undergraduate studies.
