I am Cathy, a dedicated and experienced nanny with 8 years of child-care experience under my belt. Recently, completed my contract. My primary role was to take care of the child from 2021-2023. 2020-2021 I have been working as a live-in nanny for a family and was responsible for their lovely two-year-old boy. It was a short contract since the child started going to school. In my previous role, I began my day at 7:30 am and worked until 5 pm. My duties were all-encompassing, including preparing and serving meals, changing clothes, tidying up, doing laundry, and arranging fun and educational outdoor activities. I particularly believe in disciplining children in line with parents' approach and preferences, buttressed by my own belief in the effectiveness of a consistent routine. As for my availability, I am free from mornings to the middle of the afternoon from Monday to Friday. I am a non-smoker with. I have experience working with children of all age ranges, from newborns to teens, although I work best in an environment with one child. My academic credentials include a high school diploma, equivalent high school graduation, and some college education; I also have certified nanny training. I am more than happy to work as a babysitter, mother's helper, or nanny for long-term employment. If required, I can also obtain a police check. Additionally, I am fluent in English and Tagalog. Prior to coming to Canada in 2019 I worked for a Chinese family in HK for 2 contracts( almost 4 years) I take care of a 10 years old and my employer often go on a business trip so I also assume responsibility on their absence. I accompany the child on her extracurricular activities and music classes. Make sure she get ready for school on time and never miss the school bus. I travel with the family during long breaks.
