I majored in Education and have a passion for education, emotional awareness, children's engagement and play! As a nanny I love starting active and connecting to nature as a caregiver.

I have worked with children of all ages with employment through the YMCA, Nanny experience, Educational Assistant work, practicum work, and volunteering through Science Centre Education Programs, Library Programs, Ronald McDonald House Charities, Alberta Health Services Children's Programs, and Children’s Literacy Programs through public elementary schools. Some skills and responsibilities I have experience with from nannying specifically are potty training, household cleaning and tidying responsibilities, cooking and preparing food, programming activities specific to children’s interests, development and educational levels; feeding/preparing age appropriate, nutritional and child safe food; and emotional support and teaching healthy emotional a regulation, expression and processing. I have my First Aid and CPR C, a current police check and vulnerable sector search, QPR training, and High Five sport training. I also have a drivers licence :) I would describe myself as very gentle, kind and compassionate. I have passion and interest in integrating meaningful education into a child’s life and focusing on how to proactively prioritize their development. I am very easy going and have a mellow energy. Manners, kindness and emotional awareness are very important values to me that I prioritize with childcare and maintain those values as constants in behaviour management.
