My name is Sobitha and I am a second year Health Science student at York University. I have been working with kids since I was 13, starting off as a babysitter for family members and neighbors within my community. Throughout more recent years I have been working with infants, toddlers and younger children. I have been fortunate enough to gain experience as a student teaching assistant at a tutoring center. When spending time with the kids, I enjoy playing games, doing crafts and planning fun activities. During my free time, I enjoy cooking, walking my dog and reading.

Throughout my work as a child care worker I ensure the safety and health of the children as it is my main priority. I enjoy preparing meals and snacks for the kids as well as preparing fun indoor and outdoor educational activities. I not only maintain the kids happiness and entertainment but I encourage and help the children with cleanliness and good hygiene such as changing the diapers of infants and toddlers and encourage hand washing among kids of all age groups.
