My name is Barbara, I live here in Maple Ridge, I am married and my husband owns a small family run business. I have run the office and have done all the admin work since 2006, but I find its so organized it only takes very minimal time for me. So I am finding I have lots of time on my hands and would like to find a job way from the house. I have been a home-stay mom for the last 4 years through SD42. My present student is 11 and from South Korea and the Korean agent told me I am there top home-stay mom and all the children that come to Canada and want to stay with me. I treat the children as if they are my own. I still email and talk to many of my students that have since gone back to South Korea. My two boys are 19 and 24. I love children and have always looked after my friends children before and after school. I have my vulnerable sector check done through the RCMP. My love is cooking, baking, watching Disney movies and reading. I cook all types off food, Thai, Indonesian, Indian, Korean, Middle Eastern etc. Being Dutch I am very organized and love keeping my own home very clean. Being an administration secretary for a long time I am very organized. I am very compassionate, empathetic, kind and patient. I have a valid class 5 with a clean driver's abstract. I drive a 2019 all wheel drive Hyundai Tuscon.. I am hoping to find a position preferably in Maple Ridge.
