I come to the profession of nanny services with a career as a fully licensed Infant Toddler Early Childhood Educator with over 25 years working in various childcare facilities as well as volunteering for Children's Hospital in the early years of my career. I love to actively engage with children by making them a large part of their learning process. I love to be out and about with children and have a zest for story telling activities. I want children to feel the love and care I have for them. I also have experience as an organizer. I love to scrapbook, record and document children's activities throughout the day. As I now have a daughter who has graduated, I am looking forward to the next part of my career as a nanny.
Early Childhood Educator with Infant/Toddler and Special Needs citations. I have worked in many daycare facilities for the past 25 years. I have worked in centers that specialize in play-based, reggio emilia inspired, and Montessori based philosophies. I have worked with age groups ranging from infant to 12 years old, providing extra support to those requiring extra support. I believe I possess the interpersonal and communication skills used successfully with a diverse group of people in various environments including childcare facilities, library settings and retail establishments. I have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, an absolute prerequisite to working with parents, teachers, support workers, and specialists. I have a strong belief in honesty and treating people with respect as shown by helping individuals to keep their dignity intact while going through the highly emotional process of paring down items. I have strong organizational skills and a creative flare.
