Hello, My would-be Employer
I would like to apply as a child caregiver to your wonderful family. Please let me introduce myself. I am Cheryl, a 57 year old Filipino, a former college teacher in the Philippines. I took good care of my newborn sisters who are twins and my other younger siblings. So, I have so much experience in caring for children. Furthermore, I have also worked as a private tutor to a grade school student for five years and seven months and tutor/nanny to a family with a two months old infant and four years old toddler for one year and five months in the Philippines.
Here in Canada, an amazing Canadian employer offered me a job as a child caregiver, sponsored me with LMIA. After my employer received a positive LMIA, I applied for a work permit and my work permit was approved.
My work permit is employer-specific, that means I can only work for the employer as stated in my work permit. So, from June 10, 2021, I started working for my amazing Canadian employer but because of her financial condition, my employer decided to lay off me effective November 20, 2021.
Starting November 20, 2021, I am free to work for a new employer. But my new employer has to sponsor me with an LMIA and after my new employer received a positive LMIA, then I would apply for a new work permit.
There is an immigration policy now that a temporary foreign worker (TFW) like me could write online on the immigration website web form requesting that a TFW would be allowed to work for his new employer while waiting for his new work permit.
It takes 10 days for the immigration office to send an email to the TFW. After a TFW received that email stating that that TFW is approved to work for his new employer while still waiting for his new work permit, then, that’s the time that TFW can work for his new employer.
I have a first-aid with CPR training from Canada Red Cross, am fully vaccinated (two doses of Pfizer Covid19 vaccine), Flu shot and with child caregiver work experience to an amazing Canadian family.
In addition to that, I am trustworthy, organized and orderly, reliable, can manage sleep training schedule, changing diapers, meals preparation, feedings and committed to stay long-term in a job. Moreover, I am patient for I can handle long hours caring for children and their emotional needs, mood swings and behaviour.
Please sponsor me and I assure you that I would work for your family for many years. My schedule is open: can start anytime and available to work live in, live out, with overtime, during weekends. Please message me here in nannyservices. ca or in my cell phone number before you call. I am also willing to do housekeeping, cooking, laundry and other household chores. Both my written and spoken English are very good. I live in my brother and his family's home in Silverado Boulevard, Calgary Southwest.
I am willing to relocate. I am looking forward to hearing from you soon. Thank you very much.
Sincerely, Cheryl
