I have been involved varying in child care situations for 6 years and have been mainly doing summer camp counsellor jobs with younger children for the last 4 years. Looking after groups of 4-6 children for 6 hours and then some with pre or post care (so 8+ hrs/daily). Experience cooking, baking and grocery shopping for various food allergies (eg. Celiac disease, lactose intolerance, nut allergies). Have experience managing and engaging groups of 2-6 children. Creating daily lesson and activity plans. Previous babysitting experience, experienced in helping school aged children with homework after school. Experience maintaining current routines; getting children to bed on time, following specific routine and instructions already in place. Experience with pets (routines, walks, care and experience with senior pets). Good driving record and safe new vehicle (2019). Currently pursuing a Political Science degree at the University of Calgary, aiming to pursue an Early Childhood Education degree.
