I am a 33-year old native German, who just moved to Canada with her husband. Ever since my teenage years, I have been babysitting. I spent a year as a live-in au-pair in Chicago, taking care of 3 children (6m, 4y, 6y) and another year as a nanny for a toddler in Australia. For a year, I worked as a substitute teacher at a German elementary school. I enjoy being around children and helping them navigate the world around them. I love spending time outdoors with kids rather than being inside all day. I would consider my biggest skills to be patience and the ability to easily connect with children. I am looking for a job in/ around East Van with at least 15hrs a week. Fluency in English and German as well as intermediate Spanish skills.
