I am a responsible, creative, and compassionate single female who loves life and loves kids. I grew up in a loving home with 3 siblings and two excellent parents. I have spent most of my life working with children including: teaching private music lessons (piano and violin) to many children of all ages, teaching swimming lessons, working at a summer camp for multiple summers, tutoring and helping kids with homework, leading church children’s programs, and babysitting. I love finding new ways to keep children engaged and productive and I like to make learning fun. I enjoy cooking and I am comfortable making food for those with dietary restrictions (although I do not have any dietary restrictions). I am a very organized person who enjoys housework and cleaning, and I take great care to ensure I always do a good job. I am a certified lifeguard, I like spending time outside, and I try to find ways to make the simple things in life meaningful. My experience working with children includes: 1. Teaching private music lessons (piano and violin). I have been teaching music for over 3 years to children ages of 3 - 17. I find creative ways to make learning fun, I explain things in a way children will understand, and I instill a love for music in children from a young age. 2. Teaching swimming lessons I am a strong swimming and a certified lifeguard. As a swim instructor, I taught children ages 6 months old to 15 years old. I enabled babies to experience water through singing and play, for my preschool classes I made swimming fun and helped children overcome their fear of water, and I taught my older classes proper techniques and water safety 3. Working at a summer camp As a cabin leader, I invested in the lives of the girls in my cabin by truly getting to know them. I was responsible for their safety and emotional well being, and I ensured their experience was positive and fun. 4. Tutoring and helping kids with homework 5. Leading church children’s programs I have been involved in many children's programs where I cared for, taught and entertained children 6. I Graduated High School in 2016 (Home Educated) I have a Diploma in Biblical Studies from Prairie College I have achieved Royal Conservatory of Music Level 10 (Piano) and Level 8 (Violin) I will be pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Ministry with plans to enroll in a Masters program after I get my degree
