Hello there. My name is Konica and I am a 25 year-old female living in Toronto. I am seeking a position where I can fully commit myself to being a Nanny and/or Housekeeper. I was born and raised in Quebec and moved to Toronto years ago and I am very happy to be here. I am going to start by saying this (even if you've probably heard this a lot): I see being a Nanny as more than just a job. I have known this my whole life and I cannot believe I did not dedicate myself FULLY to this position any earlier. I am just really grateful that I am now. It is and has been my one true passion and I will feel like the luckiest woman in the world to be yours. Seriously. I love children and being around them really brightens up my day more than you could ever imagine. This started when I was just a child myself. I always wanted to take care of other babies and hug other children. My mother, who worked as a Kindergarten Teacher Assistant and at a Child Daycare Centre, had to buy me tons of baby dolls to take care of throughout my baby days. My mother knew how much I loved to take care of babies just like her so she gave me everything I have ever dreamed of one day which was, a baby sister. I took care of her and looked after her every chance that I could. Be it changing her diapers, feeding her, bathing her, playing with her, staying up all night if she cried or she needed me. I would even go through the sleepless nights with my mother sometimes, always by her side. My little sister became my new best friend and still is up until this very day which I am very grateful for, as with all of my other family members. I also have experience in being a Kindergarten Helper all throughout grade school and worked with children at my post-secondary school while I was a Student Ambassador. I am a very energetic and outgoing person with strong morals and values. I have always wanted to be a Nanny because I love working with children of all ages. Ever since I can remember I have been told countless amount of time that I have good motherly qualities and a "magic superpower" of making babies smile or laugh, even the babies I randomly pass by that don't usually like strangers. I remember a little boy actually ran up to me and hugged me out of no where. It was amazing. I see myself as an empath and genuinely love helping others as it is that one thing that truly fulfills my heart and makes me happy. I am ready to dedicated my entire life to taking care of your children when need be as well as helping you out with your home and family. I have been serving in some form of childcare for over eight years and can honestly say I love what I do. I feel children are fun, loving, innocent, pure and exciting. My goal as a Nanny is to provide the best environment for both the children and parents and to give my help and love. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes family errands, children’s laundry, meal preparation and keeping the house tidy. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am fun, empathetic, loving, honest, and reliable. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include nutritious eating, educational activities, and physical/mental/emotional well-being. I have been around kids all my life caring for family and friends. I have a great personality and kids love me. I’m fun loving, sweet, smart, and a kid at heart. As for my professional background, I am a technically-advanced and strong administrative professional with experience in various industries, from Assistant Chef to Office Assistant with a demonstrated history of working in the hospitality, technology, and business industry. I am skilled in Customer Service, Analytical Skills, IT Strategy, Market Research, Executive Administrative Assistance, and Business Intelligence as well as managing Client, Employee, and Partnership Relationships and Communications. I have studied in the Executive Office Administration, Leadership, and Global Citizenship program while working as a Student Ambassador at Centennial College. My strong technical competence in technology alongside my professional skills and overall aptitude have served me in my previous work experiences and molded me into an excellent administrator. I am well-known by key managers and executives as a quality-focused and committed administrator when it comes to approaching administrative tasks, with persistence and strong attention to detail. When it comes to prioritizing and completing multiple tasks simultaneously, I can follow through and direct others to achieve project and team goals. I am resourceful, accurate, and an organized assistant who takes initiative and is highly motivated to expand knowledge and skills in order to succeed in the workplace. however, I always knew and still strongly do, that deep inside my heart and soul - what truly made me happy was visualizing myself as a full-time Nanny. My parents are still happily married and have raised a great person in me. I have two sisters, one brother, many baby cousins, and two bunnies that I currently care for. I’ve been working in the corporate world for 8+ years but in my heart, being a Nanny is where I truly want and need to be full-time because I strongly feel it is the perfect fit for me and really connects with who I truly am. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I have the pure, strong, and genuine drive to protect children and love making them laugh and seeing children happy, healthy, and just being around them is enough to put a smile on my face, no matter what I am faced with. I feel it is important to have a nanny like myself that is also skilled in teaching the emotional skills every child needs growing up to identify, express and manage their feelings. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 15 years and can honestly say I love what I do. I feel the children are the most beautiful blessings on Earth. My goal as a Nanny is to be the best I can be to the children; take care of them, teach them, mold them into great human beings, and last but not least.. be there for you as parents and guardians of these children as well. I am willing to do ANY or ALL housekeeping which includes laundry (cleaning and folding), running errands, picking up toys, heavy-duty or light cleaning, dishes, etc. House duties upon child-care is the type of care has been very rewarding for me personally. With proper quality time spent with children, they are better able to learn and grow physically, educationally, socially and emotionally. I can assure you that I always have their best interest at heart and that of the family’s in mind. I treat each child as an individual and as if they are a part of my own family. As a childcare provider, each child’s personal health and safety is of utmost importance to me. Overall I am a very open heated and outgoing person. I enjoy being part of a child’s growth. I feel the children are special and a joy to be around. My goal as a Nanny is to always have the children’s best interest, make sure the children are safe and having fun while also teaching and providing the essential care a child needs. If there is anything else that you would like to know or have any questions/inquiries about, please don't hesitate to reach out to me. I appreciate your time and consideration. Thank you in advance and I look forward to our conversation. Stay safe and happy. I wish you a wonderful day. Good to Know: Full G-class Driver's License Diploma in Administration (Executive) Fitness Training and CPR/AED Current Volunteer at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada Kindergarten Helper since Grade 5 Assisted in my Post-Secondary Childcare Centre Sincerely, Konica L.

I love and care for because it is simply my state of being and all of my energy stems from that. It's important for children to get along with their Nanny energetically, which I am fully and willingly capable of doing. I am a fun and creative individual who can be a child at heart which allows me to better connect with children. I can keep up with kids and play games that involves a lot of movement and am able to stay active and energetic for as long as necessary. I am able to relate to their level of play and do fun activities. I am very open-minded and can adapt exceptionally to different situations and environments. I am able to play as well as identify their interests and manage how your kids want to learn and play, which I feel is a must in order to assure they are happy with the experience. I can identify a child's strengths and areas of improvement then work with that as well as figure out their learning style and unique way of absorbing knowledge and expressing emotion through their behaviors. I am relaxed and willing to do most to any task (even the goofy ones). I will help create healthy boundaries and routines. I find that children mostly (and unknowingly) thrive in a predictable environment. I am not afraid to set boundaries and work within the routine already developed within a household or develop any new ones as requested by parents or guardians. I will keep them entertained and can get really creative. It's my strength to be able to think of new and innovative ideas (which is especially imperative for toddlers with short attention spans). I understand keeping them engaged on one task can be hard at times so I am always able to think on my feet whenever needed and adjust quickly. I want children to look forward to seeing me and be excited to because I always bring new ideas for activities and fun. I am kind, warmhearted and my goal is also to make your children feel like the person who is taking care of them actually likes them, cares for them, and is genuinely happy to spend the day with them. I am also a huge book worm and quite the nerd so I feel like I am well-educated and able to keep up with your child's questions and curious nature. It makes for more lively discussions and more engagement for your babies. I am a very protective and responsible being. First and foremost, I will make them feel safe and protected and be sure to be that Nanny they can trust and rely on to be there or listen no matter what. Safety is absolutely essential to me. Children need to feel like they can trust me and my judgment and I can assure you I will be that Nanny for your children. I am a quick thinker and put their safety first, whether at home or at the park, I can be confident and stay focused. Last, but certainly not least, I want your kids smiling ear to ear as much as you do while they're doing something productive yet fun with me. I can assure you to give your children the best of me and keep them safe and healthy so you don't have to worry.
