I am a post-secondary student with a lot of job experience with children of all ages. I am energetic, responsible, creative, and I love kids. I recently worked as a nanny for two children under the age of 6. We spent our days at the park, doing crafts, playing educational games, learning to bake, and trying out many more activities. I also have been working as a Camp Counsellor and Cabin Leader for many years, and in those years I had the additional roles of Craft Director and Waterfront Director. Through these experiences I had a lot of responsibilities, and learned how generate fun without sacrificing safety. Two years ago I completed a 10-month outdoor leadership program, where I also worked as an Outdoor Education Instructor. It was an incredible experience, and I learned so much. We got to participate in many adventure activities, and we took turns planning out and leading trips all over Ontario and the United States. Through this, I gained responsibility, communication skills, leadership qualities, and problem solving skills. Currently I am completing my schooling through McMaster. I am certified in Standard First Aid with CPR-C, I have worked as a lifeguard and swim instructor, and have tutored students in both Math and English.

Experience: During the summer of 2020 I nannied two children, and I also taught swimming lessons for several families. I have worked multiple summers at an overnight camp for children ages 6-17 as a Cabin Leader, Waterfront Director, and Crafts Director, and am currently working as a math tutor. I also have experience with toddlers and pre-school aged children, and have been a babysitter for the past 9 years for many families. Two years ago I also worked as an Outdoor Education Instructor for many school-aged children, which involved me safely leading groups through adventure and team-building activities. At times I had to mediate conflict, provide first aid, and adapt to provide an excellent experience for the students. I have also worked as a lifeguard and swim instructor for children ages 4 - 14. Finally, I have a 2 year old sister and an 8 month old brother whom I have cared for and provided overnight support for. Additional Experiences/Qualifications: I know basic piano and basic French, am fully vaccinated, and have my First Aid with CPR C qualifications.

I am currently a university student at McMaster University.
